A billion heartbeats part 1

Here is some new art I’ve been working on for the last few months. Each image contains many billion simulated heartbeats.

These are artistic visualizations of chaotic equations which can be used to simulate cardiac rhythm (Circle Map).

I use PhantomJS to render these beauties in the browser with ProcessingJS. My original renderings are 103 Megapixel. I believe these might be the highest resolution images ever rendered in a web browser.
